Transport Packing for Imported 3D PVC Wall Panels

For imported 3D PVC panels, choose the actual finish and approve packing around its profile. Our 50cm geometric and mirror-look panels and 60.5cm matte-black reference all list 50-piece cartons, but their face areas and packing needs differ. Request the assembled configuration, outside dimensions and identified weights, then connect any extra protection to the quantity and route being quoted.

Define the Surface and Edge Priorities

Mark the raised areas, visible corners, thin edges and decorative faces that matter on your selected panel. Ask the packing proposal to show orientation, face-to-face contact, internal support and movement control. More padding is not automatically better if it presses on the relief. Review how the proposed arrangement supports the shape and finish rather than prescribing protection from face size alone.

  1. Mark visible face and raised contact areas
  2. Identify edge/corner priorities
  3. Review proposed panel orientation
  4. Review separators and internal support
  5. Approve assembled pack evidence

Discuss Surface Separation for Reflective Finishes

For mirror-look PVC, attach the actual accepted gold or silver appearance sample: the listing uses a Multi selection. Reflective decorative surfaces make marks more visible, so review the separator and any proposed protective layer. A removable film or scratch-proof coating is not established here. If a layer is offered, include its removal and effect on the surface in the sample review.

Request Complete Shipment Measurements

Request the actual outer length, width and height for every carton type, plus carton count and identified weight figures. The mirror-look source lists 18kg per carton, but does not identify that number as net or gross shipping weight. Keep that scope clear in the quotation. For illustration only, a proposed 54 × 54 × 28cm outer carton has 0.54 × 0.54 × 0.28 = 0.081648m³ volume. That is a formula demonstration, not a measured carton for any listed panel. Actual freight planning must use the dimensions returned for the accepted packing.

Keep the Larger Panel Format Separate

Keep the 60.5cm Black panel on its own packing line. Its larger face and different profile mean the 50cm box dimensions and internal arrangement cannot be transferred. Retain its one-model, 50-piece carton basis. For every ordered profile, request the actual assembled configuration and outside measurements; an equal piece count does not make cartons or shipping weights equal.

Connect the Order Count with the Receiving Plan

Reconcile cartons with the receiving plan by product. An illustrative order of 100 black 50cm panels, 100 mirror-look 50cm panels and 50 larger panels would contain two, two and one standard 50-piece cartons respectively. Keep their five cartons identified as three separate lines, not one interchangeable total. Add any buyer-approved sample or spare quantity explicitly. At receipt, count cartons and inspect outer condition before removing labels; then compare the selected panel identity and sampled visible faces with the order. Agree how discrepancies will be documented before dispatch, without inventing a damage allowance.

Review the Perimeter with the Formed Profile

Review the actual panel edge and relief with the assembled pack. The black geometric product’s listed 0.8mm thickness cannot establish the height of 50 formed panels stacked together. Where PVC sheet is thermoformed, forming redistributes material across the profile; sheet gauge is not overall relief depth. Obtain the finished profile and real box dimensions. Any pallet or other consolidation unit needs its own dimensions and offered arrangement.

Approve the Packing Scope Before Shipment Planning

Approve the proposed contents, separators, edge protection, closure and outer handling arrangement using appropriate evidence, such as genuine assembled-pack photographs or a sample carton. Itemise extra protection, cartons and any pallet in the offer. Describe only verification actually agreed or evidenced; a packing proposal is not automatically drop-tested or damage-free. Keep transport-damage handling separate from product warranty.

Send a Panel and Packing Enquiry

Send the RFQ with panel URLs, selected finishes, piece quantities and the surface or edge priorities you want the packing to address. Ask for standard carton contents, the proposed extra protection, actual outside dimensions and properly identified net/gross weights. Include the receiving point and requested transport scope so optional packing can be assessed against a real shipment. The final quotation should connect the accepted panel, protection configuration, cost and handover documentation. That gives your importing team data it can use, rather than an unsupported freight estimate derived from the decorative face size.

Specify the Panel and Its Packing Priorities

Send the actual panel links, selected finishes and quantities, then mark the surface and edge areas the proposed pack must protect. Add the destination and transport scope so the offer can identify carton contents, real outside measurements, weight scope and any extra protection costs.
