Covering Evidence and Receiving Checks

Agree what the delivered covering must match before placing the bulk order. Material, dimensions, appearance, carton quantity and a specified test result each need their own comparison record.

Use the Relia product and agreed quotation as the centre of that plan. Request the relevant documents, compare received units with the accepted reference and describe any difference concretely.

Check the Scope of a Supplied Document

When a report or document is provided, match its product identification to the quoted item. Read the issuer, report reference, date, method and result, along with any construction or installation conditions. A report for a different backing or assembly may not answer the current request. Keep any scope difference visible so it can be resolved before the document is relied on for the purchase.

Keep Appearance Approval Specific

Compare colour, gloss, texture and the intended join with the identified sample or artwork version. State whether that approval covered appearance only or also a fitting trial.

Retain the actual design, crop and any agreed appearance limits beside the quotation. The receiving team can then make the same comparison instead of relying on a general marble-look name.

Read Technical Quantities With Their Labels

The textured PVC panel lists 1 mm material thickness and 1.2–1.5 kg/m² areal mass. A 50 × 50 cm panel has 0.25 m² gross area, so the listed areal mass corresponds arithmetically to 0.30–0.375 kg of material per panel if applied to that full area. This is a calculation from that reference, not a measured shipment weight. Complete relief depth, carton mass and gross shipping weight are separate quantities.

Agree Receiving Criteria Before Goods Arrive

Agree product/design identity, carton and piece counts, packaging condition, selected dimensions and appearance reference while placing the order. Include any required dimensional or colour limits there, and give the receiver the same record used for sample approval.

Describe observations by feature: print colour or alignment, relief or shape, cut size, edge or roll presentation. Record the affected quantity with a measured value or clear photograph. These categories identify what is visible without guessing the cause or claiming a particular factory inspection process.

  1. Specify

    Product, design, dimensions and quantity.

  2. Approve

Retain the sample/artwork version and scope.

  3. Define checks

Identity, counts, condition and agreed limits.

  4. Receive

Record observations against the agreed order.

Count and Photograph the Received Packing

Count cartons against the order and packing record, compare visible item/design marks and photograph damage before discarding packaging. Take both an overall view and a close view that links the concern to the actual carton or product.

Keep any inspected piece identified with its packing. The receiving record can then connect the observation to the supply being reviewed.

Compare Pieces and Rolls With the Correct Supply Unit

A carton count should be checked against the selected product’s packing. The black 60.5 cm ceiling panel lists 50 pieces per carton. The 60 cm floor square lists 28 pieces per carton, and the floor plank lists 72. Keep these counts separate from the product minimum and from a measured project area. Record shortages or mismatches against the exact order line and the agreed packing arrangement.

Review Films Against Their Actual Mounting Type

Check the selected glass-film mounting type before cutting a larger quantity. The static-cling PVC/PET reference is non-self-adhesive; the reeded PET reference is self-adhesive.

Compare received width, actual design and mounting description with the order. Retain the fitting instructions and any glazing-compatibility review alongside that product's record.

Send a Clear Discrepancy Record

If something needs review, send the quotation or order reference, affected product and design, received quantity, relevant packing identity and photographs. Describe the observation in concrete terms and identify any measured value with its unit. Keep unused material and packaging available while the issue is discussed. Reporting arrangements, warranty scope and remedies follow the applicable order conditions and the selected product.
