Marble-Look Self-Adhesive Film for Interior Walls

For a stone-like interior finish without buying stone slabs, compare our actual marble-look self-adhesive PVC rolls. You can choose a high-gloss or embossed 1.22 m × 50 m reference, or a 45 cm × 10 m faux-marble roll. Start with the look you want, then use the wall and roll comparisons below to select the finish and purchase quantity.

  1. Choose the actual marble-look reference
  2. Compare finish under room lighting
  3. Plan the visible wall and joins
  4. Calculate complete-roll purchase
  5. Approve the design-specific offer

A High-Gloss Reference with Purple and Gold Veining

Relia Wallpaper’s high-gloss gold-marble PVC roll is a defined starting point for a decorative stone-like wall: 1.22m × 50m, listed 0.20–0.30mm thickness and a one-roll minimum. Review the actual purple-blue and gold-veined design before comparing alternatives. This self-adhesive film lists waterproof/water-resistant, moisture-proof and mould-proof functions; its marble appearance does not make it a stone slab.

Two Roll Formats for Different Material Plans

The wide 18231 and embossed 18233 references use 1.22 m × 50 m rolls and list 0.20–0.30 mm thickness. Short-roll reference 18241 is 45 cm × 10 m at 0.1 mm. The dimensional difference affects where joins fall and how many complete drops can be cut from a roll.

For an illustrative 3.6 m-wide wall, three 1.22 m widths span the field before seam adjustment, while eight 45 cm widths span it exactly. That is two different seam layouts, not a statement that either design is supplied as a seamless stone panel. Place the joins on the elevation before settling the finish.

An Embossed Alternative with Its Own Pattern

The embossed wide-roll alternative has its own pattern, texture and colour field. Compare it with the high-gloss sample upright and at an angle under the intended room light. Light direction affects apparent sheen and colour, so use consistent viewing positions. The shared format makes quantity comparisons easier, while the approved physical samples determine the finish you intend to buy.

Approve the Veining Across the Visible Wall

Approve the complete veining arrangement, not just a small attractive corner. Open enough of the selected roll to identify the large colour transitions, then place adjoining lengths together. Decide whether the intended design uses continuous matching, a deliberate break or another approved joint appearance; obtain the actual repeat information where matching is required.

Mark the main sightline, corners and the wall's finishing edge on the drawing. Record the approved pattern direction and which motif area should be prominent. A printed marble image does not by itself establish bookmatching or invisible seams, so the sample and elevation should settle the result you intend to buy.

Match the Film to the Existing Wall Surface

Include the actual wall finish and condition in the sample brief, with any repairs, texture or damage the local installer needs to address. Trial the selected film using its instructions, reviewing the face, joins and edges as well as adhesion. The approved decoration and required wall preparation are separate parts of the job.

Industry decoration establishes the visual design, embossing creates texture, and conversion sets the roll format. Similar veining can therefore produce different surface and joining results. Approve artwork, sheen and texture together rather than expecting a marble image or embossed finish to level an uneven wall.

  1. Industry route: decorative film surface
  2. Apply the selected pattern and finish
  3. Convert to the required roll dimensions
  4. Approve the actual veining, texture and joins

Surface evaluation still identifies the wall finish/condition, selected preparation, representative trial and visible face, join and edge result.

A Compact Black-and-Gold Short-Roll Reference

The black-and-gold short roll is a separate 45cm × 10m PVC design, listed at 0.1mm, with waterproof and moisture-proof functions for interior wall and furniture decoration. A narrower strip may suit a compact accent, but place its joins on the measured drawing. If you need the wide roll’s artwork in a narrow format, make that a separate matching enquiry rather than ordering this different design.

Compare the Quantity Bought at Each Minimum

Take an illustrative 3.6 m × 2.5 m wall and assume 0.1 m total trimming per vertical drop. The wide layout needs three 2.6 m cuts, or 7.8 linear metres before pattern matching. The narrow layout needs eight 2.6 m cuts. A 10 m roll yields three complete cuts under those assumptions, so the initial narrow plan requires three rolls.

The published purchase minimum is still one wide roll or 30 short rolls. The short-roll minimum contains 135 m² nominally and is packed 30 rolls per carton. Keep the layout requirement and opening order apart; the extra purchase quantity is not a prescribed waste percentage.

Choose the Finish Before Confirming the Offer

Keep the approved sample with the selected design, finish, thickness, format and accepted variation. Compare received material with that record, including dimensions and adjoining-piece appearance under the evaluation light. Use the same wall trial for the selected product. Future matching, availability and sample-retention arrangements belong in agreed buying terms rather than being assumed from the first sample.
