Custom Stripe Wallpaper Sourcing from a China Factory
For original stripe wallpaper, choose the PVC base and define the repeat at finished size before pricing the bulk print. Our 45cm × 10m, 0.1mm references state OEM/ODM acceptable and 30-roll standard minimums. Send stripe widths, direction and adjoining-strip layout, then use a physical printed sample to assess colour and matching for the proposed custom order.

Choose the Existing Decorative Base First
At Relia Wallpaper, start your stripe enquiry with one of these existing PVC bases. Both are 45cm × 10m, 0.1mm thick, with a 30-roll standard minimum and OEM/ODM acceptable. The Brown stripes/plaid reference uses plastic-film packing; the removable grille-effect reference lists 30 rolls per carton. Choose the base first, then describe the new print and any separate material changes.

Compare the Two Roll References on the Same Basis
The two existing designs are material references, not specifications for your original stripe spacing. Record the selected base product and its ordinary waterproof, moisture-proof and mould-proof features, then attach the new artwork separately. The grille product’s 3D effect is a decorative appearance on thin wallpaper, not evidence of a structural ribbed panel. If your brief requires a physically raised profile, identify that requirement before commissioning the print. Otherwise, keep the proposal focused on the continuous stripe image to be reproduced on the chosen thin PVC roll.
| Base | Unchanged standard facts | Packing |
|---|---|---|
| 18835Brown stripes/plaid | 45cm × 10m ·0.1mm | Plasticfilm |
| 18236 striped-grille effect | 45cm × 10m ·0.1mm | 30 rolls/carton |
| Both | 30-roll standard minimum | Custom conditions separate |
Make the Repeat Part of the Purchasing Brief
Send a repeat tile at the intended printed size. Mark stripe widths, gaps, the top edge and the direction along the roll. Add a preview of neighbouring tiles and adjoining wall drops, so the edges can be assessed together. Include the file revision and permission to reproduce the artwork. File requirements and any adjustments depend on the proposed print assessment.
Keep the Grille Appearance on a Thin Wallpaper Base
Use the grille-effect sample to judge the thin PVC surface and decorative appearance you want to retain. Its 3D effect does not make it a structural ribbed panel. Compare the new stripe direction with the room and the roll edges. If you need a physically raised profile or a different surface, list that separately from changing the printed pattern.

Review the Pattern across the 45cm Roll Width
A 45cm nominal width creates an immediate layout question. An illustrative 7.5cm horizontal repeat would fit six repeats across 45cm mathematically, but the usable print width, edge treatment and adjoining-drop match still need to be established. For quantity planning, consider a 3m-wide wall requiring seven nominal 45cm drops. If an assumed 2.5m cut fits four times into a 10m roll, two rolls can supply seven cuts before further allowances. If a hypothetical 60cm longitudinal repeat instead requires 3m matched cuts, each roll supplies only three, and seven drops require three rolls. These are examples, not the offered pattern.
| Illustrative comparison | Cut consequence |
|---|---|
| 45cm÷7.5cm cross-width repeat | 6mathematical repeats; edge fit not established |
| 3m wall÷45cm, rounded up | 7drops |
| Assumed 2.5m cut from 10m | 4cuts/roll; 2 rolls for 7drops |
| Hypothetical 3m matched cut | 3cuts/roll; 3 rolls for 7drops |
Compare Colour and Sheen on the Physical Material
Use a screen preview for stripe spacing and layout, then judge colour and sheen on the selected PVC material. Supply a physical colour reference where a match matters. Review the printed sample beside it under agreed lighting, with the critical colours and transitions marked. A room rendering helps explain the design but cannot replace the actual printed sample or adjoining-drop check.

Connect Artwork Approval to a Defined Sample
Approve three connected items: the artwork version, the PVC base and the printed sample. The file defines stripe geometry; the material defines the surface; the printed sample shows them together. Include enough repeated pattern to compare adjoining drops. Any accepted change should appear in both the revised file and its proof record.
In print preparation, the repeat is positioned relative to the roll edges. A screen proof shows the planned layout, while a physical proof shows the material’s colour and sheen. These are purchasing stages for the proposed order, rather than evidence of a specific in-house production route.
- Agree artwork geometry/version
- Select the actual PVC base
- Assess printed sample at final scale
- Check adjoining-drop pattern
- Freeze revised file and proof together
Artwork geometry → adjoining-strip layout → physical output proof → accepted file and product version.
Request a Custom-Pattern Quotation Separately
Quote the original pattern separately from the standard catalogue roll. The 30-roll minimum is useful evidence for existing supply, but the custom artwork may have different sampling, setup and quantity conditions. Ask for product cost, artwork preparation if offered, print sampling, packing and the quantity to which each term applies. Keep plastic-film packing and 30-roll carton packing with their respective base references. Do not let a quotation for one base inherit the other’s carton count merely because both standard rolls have the same width and length.
| Quote component | Separate decision |
|---|---|
| Existing roll | 30-roll standard reference |
| Custom print | Quantity and feasibility to be offered |
| Proof/artwork work | Scope and charges if applicable |
| Packing | Retain selected base or quote change |
Release One Agreed Pattern and Product Version
Keep one order version containing the base product, 0.1mm gauge, 45cm × 10m format, stripe direction, repeat dimensions, file revision and approved printed sample. Add rolls per design and the required packing. If a later change affects the material, colour or seam layout, review that part again. The custom offer should identify its own feasibility, sample scope and quantity conditions.

Turn Your Stripe Artwork into a Roll Brief
Send the selected PVC base, original stripe file and physical repeat dimensions. Include the direction, adjacent-strip preview and planned rolls per design so the offer can address the actual print scope, sample and quantity rather than a generic custom-wallpaper request.
