Prepare a Wallpaper and Covering Custom Brief

Choose a base product and one main change: retail presentation, original artwork or supplied size. Each needs different inputs and approval decisions.

Relia's Brown PVC wallpaper lists OEM/ODM availability, while the vinyl/PE-foam grille accepts size customisation. Use those references to define the requested version, quantity and sample decision for a product-specific proposal.

Separate the Main Custom Routes

Relia's custom discussion starts with the named product and requested version. For private label, retain the existing design identity while specifying retail presentation. For original print, supply artwork and its repeat or full-image arrangement. For a size change, state width, length and quantity per design.

Keep packing, artwork and material changes as separate fields. Development, sample and quotation conditions can then be addressed against the actual scope.

Write the Base and Requested Version Side by Side

For the Brown wallpaper, the base is PVC, self-adhesive, 0.45 × 10 m, with a listed 0.1 mm thickness and 30-roll minimum. State which parts should stay the same and which should change. A requested different width does not automatically carry the existing packing or minimum. Keeping both versions in the brief gives the feasibility and quotation discussion an exact starting point.

Describe a Size-Adjusted Grille Roll

The wood-pattern vinyl/PE-foam grille is supplied at 60 × 300cm and accepts size-customisation enquiries. Give the proposed width and length with units, selected catalogue design and intended grille direction.

State the quantity for each size and the handling or layout task it solves. A narrower roll and a shorter piece change different dimensions, so retain both the standard and requested format in the brief.

Prepare Artwork at Its Intended Scale

Supply the artwork version, intended physical scale, orientation and visible boundaries. For a repeat, show the continuous tile and adjoining edges; for a mural, mark the whole image and features that must survive trimming. Keep text and fine details clear of the proposed trim.

Use the production-file requirements agreed for the selected product. Printing carries the artwork onto that face, while finishing and cutting define the supplied format. State the seam arrangement and retain the base construction while reviewing a new pattern so the approval concerns an identifiable version.

  1. Identity

Artwork file name, revision and owner permission.

  2. Scale

Repeat size or complete image dimensions.

  3. Layout

Direction, joins, crop and critical visible elements.

  4. Approval

Preview/sample version and the accepted scope.

Treat Labels and Cartons as Their Own Specification

The Brown wallpaper lists plastic-film packing. A branded sleeve, label language, retail barcode or different carton quantity is a new packing request. Describe the label dimensions, placement, artwork version and the count per retail unit. List required carton marks separately. Keep mandatory destination information in the brief so the agreed packaging can be compared with your retail and import requirements.

Keep Murals Separate From Repeating Rolls

The rose mural combines IXPE foam and a PET surface in a 120 × 240cm format with 2.3mm listed thickness. Its full composition needs a whole-image and boundary plan.

For a mural, show the artwork across the complete supplied format; for a repeating roll, show the tileable repeat. Choose that route before requesting the artwork sample or deciding the crop.

Use Checkpoints That Produce a Defined Order

Move through feasibility, artwork or sample review, and a quoted supply specification. At feasibility, record which requested changes can be supplied. At approval, record the exact version and what was reviewed. At quotation, keep material, dimensions, quantity basis, packing, any setup charges and the required delivery conditions together. An artwork approval alone should not replace those commercial and specification decisions.

  1. Feasibility

Accepted change and any remaining inputs.

  2. Sample/artwork

Version, appearance/layout decision and open revisions.

  3. Quotation

Defined product, quantities, packing and commercial conditions.

  4. Order reference

    Retained approved specification and files.

Prepare the Private-Label Presentation

Keep the approved existing product identifiable while developing its sleeve, label or carton presentation. The design name, supplied size, installation wording and quantity must describe the actual item.

Record any simultaneous artwork, gauge or size change as another development task. The retail pack can then be assessed against a clear material version and its own packing artwork.
