Build a Private-Label Range with Floor Squares and Planks
For a branded square-and-plank floor range, keep the actual floor structure separate from its packaging. Our 60cm marble square uses 28-piece cartons; the 91.4 × 15.2cm planks use 36-piece cartons, with different nominal material areas. Select the product samples first, then specify the retail count, label and carton changes you want assessed without changing the chosen construction.

Give Each Format Its Own Product Specification
At Relia Wallpaper, choose each floor product before changing its packaging. The white-marble WPC/PVC square is 60 × 60cm, about 1.5mm thick. The white wood-look WPC/PVC plank is 91.4 × 15.2cm, about 1.5mm; the embossed PVC plank has that footprint at 1.5mm. Compare the actual samples rather than treating an SPC keyword as construction evidence. None of these references states OEM/ODM acceptance, so brand work needs a specific offer.
| Format/reference | Material and face | Listed thickness |
|---|---|---|
| 18325 white marble square | WPC/PVC ·60 × 60cm | About 1.5mm |
| 18341 white wood plank | WPC/PVC ·91.4 × 15.2cm | About 1.5mm |
| 19452 embossed plank | PVC ·91.4 × 15.2cm | 1.5mm |
Plan Carton Counts before Retail Pack Design
The square’s standard packing is 28 pieces per carton; the two planks list 36. Their nominal areas are different: 28 squares represent 10.08m², while 36 planks represent 5.001408m² before cutting. Print or specify the unit the buyer will actually receive rather than rounding both formats to an attractive equal coverage number. If a label uses a rounded nominal area, keep the calculation and accepted wording with the pack specification. Net installed coverage still depends on room geometry, cutting and the selected layout, so the carton’s material area is not a no-waste installation promise.
| Standard carton | Nominal calculation | Material area |
|---|---|---|
| 28squares | 28 × 0.60 × 0.60m | 10.08m² |
| 36planks | 36 × 0.914 × 0.152m | 5.001408m² |
| Installed coverage | Cut/layout dependent | Not equal to no-waste coverage |
A White Wood-Look Direction for the Plank Line
Choose the plank appearance independently of the carton design. The white wood-look product and the embossed PVC product are different references; the latter includes named and numbered choices such as Wood and Marble. Select the design that fills a clear role in your range. Compare its direction and finish beside the square sample without treating them as a matched installation system.

Specify the Packaging Changes You Want Quoted
Describe the packaging change precisely: a label on the existing carton is different from a new retail count. A hypothetical 14-square pack contains 5.04m² nominally, close to the 5.001408m² in 36 standard planks. The square pack would change the listed 28-piece grouping and is not a confirmed option.
Keep three identities connected: the selected floor piece, the proposed retail unit and the transport case containing those units. Request the new count, protection, labels, minimums and cost as one defined packaging scope.
| Proposed retail comparison | Nominal area | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 14squares | 5.04m² | Requested repack; not confirmed |
| 36planks | 5.001408m² | Known standard count |
| Brand carton/label | Buyer-defined | Feasibility and cost to be quoted |
Keep three levels distinct: the actual floor piece, the proposed retail pack, and the transport case containing it.
Choose the Surface That Belongs in the Range
Use the samples to compare the white-marble image, white wood grain and embossed PVC texture. Keep ordinary self-adhesive, waterproof and eco-friendly descriptions with the products that state them. A marble image is not stone, and embossing alone does not establish a slip class. The retail item should carry the selected product’s relevant preparation and use information.

Keep the Retail Description Product-Specific
A useful retail description includes actual format, pieces per unit, nominal material area, mounting method, selected design and the relevant application information. The product link or an agreed cross-reference should connect the branded item to the accepted base product. Any barcode or brand code comes from the buyer’s actual system, not from an invented model number. If the packaging must carry a market-specific statement, identify the supporting information needed for that chosen item. Do not borrow a fire, wear, removal or compliance claim from a different floor product merely to make the two-format range look consistent.
Separate Product Quantity from Brand Execution
For an illustrative launch of 100 proposed 14-square retail units, the purchase needs 1,400 squares: 50 standard 28-piece cartons before repacking allowances. One hundred standard 36-plank units need 3,600 planks and 100 cartons. Those are quantity calculations, not acceptance of a pack conversion. Product MOQ is not listed for these references, so obtain product and packaging minimums separately for each line.
| Illustrative 100-unit launch | Pieces | Standard packing equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Requested 14-square pack | 1, 400squares | 50 × 28-piece cartons before repack allowances |
| Standard 36-plank unit | 3, 600planks | 100 × 36-piece cartons |
| Commercial conditions | ProductMOQnot listed | Packaging minimum separately requested |
Review the Square Sample with the Proposed Pack
Review the selected square and each plank with its proposed pack. Check product identity, pieces inside, face and edge protection, and legibility at printed size. Keep the material sample, label revision and pack contents together. At receipt, compare against that version: the right brand label does not make a different floor construction, appearance or piece count the approved item.

Send a Complete Two-Format Range Brief
Send a two-format RFQ that distinguishes the unchanged base products from the requested brand work. List the square and each plank with exact design, dimensions, piece count and proposed unit quantity. Attach a pack-layer drawing and state whether the existing 28/36-piece cartons are acceptable alternatives to new retail counts. Ask the offer to identify feasibility, minimums, packing protection, sample scope, costs and delivery terms. This lets your team evaluate a coherent retail range while preserving the different material and quantity facts behind every saleable unit.
Build the Two-Format Retail Specification
Send the square and plank product links, selected appearances and proposed pieces per retail unit. Add the unit totals and packaging artwork, including whether standard 28/36-piece cartons are acceptable, so the quotation can keep product and brand execution on separate lines.
